Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments,
 was solely inspired by God, that it is completely trustworthy, and
 the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (Psalm
 119:89, 130, 160; Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21)

 We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons - Father,
  Son, and Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 45:5; Matthew 3:16, 17, Matthew  28:19;  John 15:26;
2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 5:7)

 We believe in God the Father, that He is perfect in holiness,
 infinite in wisdom and measureless in power. (Genesis 17:1;
 Leviticus 11:44, 45; Isaiah 40:28, 57:15; Romans 11:33; 1 Peter
 1:16; Revelation 19:6)

 We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son who
  was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a
 sinless life, and died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of
 the world.  We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension
 into heaven, His high Priestly intercession for believers, and His
 personal, premillennial visible return to the earth. (Luke 1:35; 1
 Corinthians 15:34; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22-24; Matthew
 28:5, 6; Acts 1:9; 1 John 2:1; Revelation 20:1-7; Matthew 24:30; 2
 Thessalonians 1:7-10; 1 Timothy 2:5)

 We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father
 sent to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of
 judgment; and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe
  in Jesus Christ. (John 14:16-17, 16:7-15; Acts 9:31; Ephesians 1:13)
 We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, and that all
 who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ, are born again of the
 Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. (Ephesians 2:8-10;
 John 1:12)

 We believe that baptism is the immersion of a believer in water, in
 the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
 (Acts 8:36-39; John 3:22-23; Romans 6:3-5; Matthew 3:16, 28:19)

 We believe that the Lord's Supper is a memorial of Christ's death,
 to be observed regularly by believers until He comes. (Luke
 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-30)

 We believe that a New Testament church is a body of baptized
 believers, associated together for worship, fellowship, service, and
  the spread of the Gospel throughout the earth. (Acts 2:41-42,  14:27;
 1 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:12,  13; Mark  16:15;
Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 1:8)

 We believe God has provided and ordained the family* as the
 foundational institution of human society.  It is composed of
 persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption.  The
  ideal family consists of a father, mother and children.  Genesis
 1:26-28, 2:15-25; Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Proverbs 5:15-20,
  6:20-22, 13:24, 22:6:6, 15; Malachi 2:14-1`6; Matthew 5:31-32,
 18:2-5, 19:3-9; Mark 10:6-12; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 7:1-16;
 Ephesians 5:21-33, 6:1-4; 1 Timothy 5:14; Hebrews 13:4; 1 Peter 3:1-7

 We believe Marriage* is the uniting of one (1) biological man* and
 one (1) biological woman* in a covenant commitment for a lifetime.
 It is God's unique gift to reveal the union between Jesus Christ and
  His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the
  framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual
 expression according to biblical standards, and the means for
 procreation of the human race.  Genesis 1:26-28, 2:15-25; Proverbs
 5:15-20; Matthew 5:31-32; 1 Corinthians 7:1-16; Ephesians 5:21-33; 1
  Peter 3:1-7, 18:2-5

 We believe children from the moment of conception are living human
 beings, a person, and are a blessing and a heritage from the Lord.
 Parents are to demonstrate to their children God's pattern for
 marriage, Christian living and stewardship. Isaiah 44:2, Jeremiah
 1:5, Psalms 139:13-16; Ecclesiastes 11:5
