As great as it is that you visited our site, we would love to meet you in person! We are a community in a small town devoted to the inerrant Word of God, service to each other, and reaching others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are committed to glorifying God and the authority of Scripture. First Baptist Church of Moravia is a garden of sound doctrine in a desert of compromise and shallow teaching. Yet we are not a group of cold intellectuals, because Biblical doctrine produces Christian love, fellowship, and the fruits of the Spirit.

You’ll feel at home whether you’re visiting while on vacation or are looking for a church you can join and serve alongside fellow workers in Christ.
Sincere Worship
Our services include Christ-centered music, prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word that help us see Christ more clearly and make much of Him.
Practical Bible Teaching
Expositional preaching (preaching verse by verse) is the cornerstone of the pulpit. Although the sermons are not fluffy, topical sermons that feel like a TED Talk, they connect the truth of Scripture with the practical needs of our lives and growth.
Relaxed & Come-As-You-Are
You don’t have to dress up or have it all together. Just come as you are and be yourself. You’ll fit right in. Our worship service is family-integrated.

The first Sunday of each month, we participate in The Lord’s Supper and enjoy a potluck luncheon afterward. Please stay even if you didn’t bring food!
